Introductory Flights

Our introductory flights depart from and arrive back at Shoreham in the daytime and take less than one hour in total. This provides ample time for a flight over the Isle of Wight to the West, or Beachy Head Lighthouse and Brighton to the East. During the flight, your pilot will talk you through what they are doing when they can, but they will not give you control of the aircraft at any time, so please don’t ask. Additional passengers may incur an additional charge that can be agreed following the initial booking. Any additional passenger will only be accommodated according to mass and balance calculations for the aircraft and confirmed prior to departure.

While an introductory flight does not count as training time towards a pilot’s license, they represent a fantastic introduction to general aviation and will give you a rare glimpse of flight in a light aircraft, perhaps leading to your first trial lesson and much more besides!
